Dialer Troubleshoooting
Dialer Troubleshoooting
Whenever dialer problems arise, please do the following troubleshooting and let us know the results.
- The issue is that the dialer won’t initiate the call when the start dialer button is clicked.
- If so, try again in 30 seconds. This could be a phone line issue, and not a dialer issue.
- If the problem persists, try changing your user number (the number the dialer calls) to another phone line. (Preferably a totally different type: e.g. If you’re using a cell phone, try landline, or vice-versa.)
- If multiple lines/numbers are not working, this could be a dialer issue. Please report to us.
- The dialer connects, but no leads are connected.
- First, try reconnecting. Is the welcome message played? Is the music played?
- If leads are still not connecting, next change to a DIFFERENT campaign. (For example, if you’re on doctors, try apartments or lawyers.) You don’t need to stay on this campaign, but we need to know if the problem is with the dialer, or with a specific campaign. If one campaign works correctly, and another doesn’t, we can better understand the issue. Let us know the results.
- If the dialer connects, but multiple different campaigns are not working, change to the “My Leads” campaign. It is on an entirely different dialer sub-system, and may help narrow down the issue.
- Dialer connects and calls connect, but calls are slow.
- How long is the delay between calls?
- Does trying another campaign fix this? Or are all campaigns slow? Which campaigns are the issue?
Please provide as much detail as possible when reporting issues to us.
